The concrete volume formula
- Volume = Length × Width × Depth (all in meters)
- Estimated 50kg cement bags ≈ Volume (m³) × 7, for a standard 1:2:4 mix
This gives a solid planning estimate for a slab, footing or driveway pour. Exact bag count depends on your specific concrete mix ratio, aggregate size, and whether you're using ready-mix concrete (ordered by the m³) versus mixing on-site from bagged cement.
